Loma de Cometas, "Hill of the Comets" was a name given to the area by the Spanish Traders in the early 1700's. Today, Loma de Cometas Ranch inc., occupies portions of the Old West Community of Cometa and Prehistoric Indian and Spanish campsites.
Loma de Cometas ranch offers packaged hunts for Quail, Dove, Pheasant, Partridge (Hungarian & Chucker) and Turkey.
Hog hunting and Varmit hunting (Coyote, Cats, etc) can also be arranged.
