Loma de Cometas is an 1100 acre game ranch in South Texas near Crystal City and Carrizo Springs, TX. Cometa Ranch offers South Texas Whitetail hunts, Axis Hunts, Pere David Hunts, and Scimitar Horned Oryx hunts as well as Dove and Turkey Hunts. Cometa Ranch has a family friendly lodge with entertainment such as horse shoes, a pool table, darts and a stocked pond located just behind it. There are two more stocked ponds on the ranch, and large deer blinds to hunt from. The ranch has native animals such as Whitetail Deer, Rio Grande Turkey, Badgers, Bobcats, Javelina, and even Mountain Lions have been seen. Cometa Ranch also has exotic animals on our South Texas ranch that include Zebra, Axis, Fallow, Pere David, Red Deer, Barasingha, Blackbuck, Sika and Scimitar Horned Oryx.
